About Us

Your grandmother’s jewelry reimagined.

The journey of Teneé Estelle Trading Co originated in 1987 growing up off the Navajo Reservation in Gallup, New Mexico. Tradition and culture have played a transformative role in our vision at Teneé Estelle Trading Co. Your grandmother’s jewelry reimagined.

We strive to source handmade heirloom pieces from local artists including Hopi, Zuni, Navajo, and other craftspeople. Part of every journey is the story. Each item handpicked by our founder has a story to tell. Whether it be the 6th generation silversmith to the stone only sourced from one mine in the world. We invite you to trade stories and keep the tradition alive.

In an industry where mass production and excessive wastage are quickly becoming the norm, Teneè Estelle Trading Co is a breath of fresh air.

It breaks free from trends and preconceived hallmarks and instead creates its own standards, remaining loyal to its roots. It embraces mindful consumption and authenticity instead of throwaways and commercial knockoffs. Nothing is mass-produced, and quantities are limited.

The brand's jewelry pieces reflect the rich culture and traditions of Native Americans and carry the ingenuity of silversmiths and artists with their modern and contemporary elements. The products reflect stories that celebrate life and keep traditions alive. They are timeless, versatile, and thoughtfully crafted to suit diverse personalities and styles.

Among the brand's stunning offerings are vintage jewelry pieces dating back to the 1950s. These rare and irreplaceable works of art feature Navajo pearls, jet-black onyx stones, vivid blue turquoise, and strikingly red coral gemstones. Some of these pieces are genuine collector's items, usually not available for sale to the public.

Modern pieces that reinvent the classics are also featured in the collection. These are handcrafted by prominent and highly respected Native American artists using traditional methods passed down within families for generations. Most of the jewelry is made from genuine sterling silver, and the turquoises used are ethically and sustainably mined here in the US.

Since its establishment, Teneè Estelle Trading Co has steadily built a reputation among collectors, vintage enthusiasts, and fashionistas. Recently, it was featured in the 2022 Holiday Gift Guide in the Cowboys and Indians magazine. US orders over $75 are shipped for free.
